February 18th -   A quick thought about the potential snow event for late Monday into Tuesday.   Guidance is showing that this storm will be somewhat similar to the storms of the past several weeks in that it is likely to pass just to the south and east of the region.  At the present time it looks like we would be on the northern edge of the precipitation field which means we would get some snow but the storm will be a fast mover which would hold down snow accumulations.  The heaviest precipitation would fall across central and southern NJ but it could be in a form of wintry mix in those locations.
